La Nube STEAM Discovery Center in El Paso, Texas, allowed the first 600 children to enter for free to celebrate National Children’s Day. This was made possible through a partnership with Cummins, according to Guest Experience Director Hannah Harris.
Interactive Exhibits
Children were exposed to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math in an interactive way through the exhibits, which normally cost $17 per ticket. The free admission made it an affordable way for families to have a fun day out.
Parents like Timotheus Hicks appreciated the opportunity to take their children to a fun and educational place, especially during the hot summer weather. Hicks enjoyed seeing his child interact with the exhibits, which Harris said is a priority to expose children to at a younger age.
First-time visitors like Jonathan Perez also enjoyed their experience, with Perez saying he loved it and was excited to explore more of what La Nube had to offer.
