The park also offers kayak and paddleboard rentals, and for good reason — the mangrove-lined shores on the bay side of the island are spectacular to explore by water. Dolphins make regular appearances, and the shallow flats attract all manner of shorebirds going about their day entirely unbothered by the humans drifting past.
