Arizona softball has added former North Texas catcher Elizabeth Moffitt, a highly touted transfer prospect. Moffitt joins fellow former Mean Green Madison Conley as future Wildcats, along with transfer Ryley Harrison. She started her career at Texas Tech but found success after transferring to UNT, earning All-American Conference First Team honors in 2026.
Transfer Prospect Rankings
Moffitt is ranked as the No. 23 overall transfer prospect and No. 3 available catcher according to 64 Analytics. Softball America also ranks her highly, placing her at No. 40 overall. At the catching position, she is considered one of the top transfer catchers in the country.
Moffitt spent her prep career in California and Texas, starting at Clovis North before finishing at Prosper High in Texas. She has faced several NCAA postseason-caliber teams in her three years at UNT, including Texas Tech, Louisiana Lafayette, and Oklahoma.
With the addition of Moffitt, Arizona softball is looking to bolster its lineup for the 2027 season. Moffitt will be a redshirt senior during the 2027 season and is expected to make an immediate impact.
