A small plane crashed into a home in southern Ohio on Thursday morning, resulting in the death of the 76-year-old pilot, Kurt W. Paulus, of Delaware, Ohio.
The plane took off from the Greater Portsmouth Regional Airport in Minford around 10:45 a.m. and crashed into a home on Bennett Schoolhouse Road in Scioto County shortly after.
Nobody inside the home was injured, but the house suffered total damage in the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board were notified of the crash and are investigating.
