Jack White’s team announced on Wednesday the Detroit rocker’s new album, ‘Frozen Charlotte,’ will be released July 10. A new single, ‘Dollar Bill,’ was also released Wednesday and is currently streaming on all platforms.
Album Details
The 13-track set was recorded at the Third Man Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, with White’s bandmates Patrick Keeler (drums), Dominic Davis (bass) and Bobby Emmett (keys), following the rocker’s last tour.
‘Frozen Charlotte’ will be available on black vinyl, as well as a limited-edition ‘Zug Island Blue’ as the Third Man Records exclusive vinyl, a ‘Chrome’ edition through the Third Man web store and at live shows, and a limited-edition ‘Ice Blue’ edition at independent record stores.
White expounded on the meaning of ‘Frozen Charlotte’ in a recent Instagram post, explaining that a ‘frozen Charlotte’ is a penny doll toy from Victorian times.
