The Miracle League of Louisville is cleaning up after its park in Fern Creek was vandalized. The park’s signs, sidewalks, and building were damaged with graffiti.
A Place of Joy and Belonging
Miracle League Park is a special place where children and adults with disabilities can experience the joy of baseball. It’s a place where friendships are formed, confidence is built, and families find community. The park was designed with rubberized surfaces to prevent injuries and accommodate wheelchairs, walkers, and other devices.
Organizers said the city will help them clean up most of the damage, but they believe their donor recognition sign will have to be replaced. They are asking anyone with information to contact the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).
