Kings’ Gill, Brown Earn UFL Honors

Two Louisville Kings players have earned postseason honors from the United Football League. Edge rusher Cam Gill was named the UFL Defensive Player of the Year, while kicker Tanner Brown was named the UFL Special Teams Player of the Year.

Gill led the UFL with 10 sacks this season and also led the league with 12 tackles for loss. Brown was 25-of-28 on field goals, leading the UFL in field goals made, and also led the league in scoring with 99 points.

Both players will be honored at the UFL Awards on Friday, June 12. The Kings are set to face the DC Defenders in the United Bowl on Saturday at 3 p.m. at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.
