Flag Day Protest in Jackson, Free National Parks Admission

Flag Day this year will bring a protest to Jackson’s Town Square, as part of the ‘No Kings’ movement, which protests actions taken by the Trump Administration. The event, called ‘Take Back Our Flag,’ will feature local candidates, community leaders, veterans, a public Constitution reading, democracy-themed art projects, and ways to get involved locally.

Local Participation

Residents interested in attending the protest are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. The event is expected to draw a large crowd, with millions of Americans gathering across the country on Flag Day.

In addition to the protest, the Department of Interior has announced that Flag Day will be a fee-free day to enter all national parks. Other fee-free days include Independence Day weekend, the 110th Birthday of the National Park Service, and Veterans Day.
