A Knoxville family is displaced after a fire started in their garage early Wednesday morning. The fire happened just before 4 a.m. in the 2700 block of W. Larson Street, according to fire officials, who said there was extensive fire in the garage but crews were able to stop it from spreading to the attached home.
The American Red Cross Iowa Region is helping the displaced family. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
