Staal became the first player in 44 years to score at least one goal in each of the first four games of the final. He was joined on the scoresheet by Nikolaj Ehlers, Jackson Blake, and Logan Stankoven, who all scored for the Hurricanes.
Brandon Bussi started in goal for the Hurricanes, making 18 saves in the win. Pyotr Kochetkov was the backup goalie, with Frederik Andersen serving as the emergency goaltender.
The Golden Knights had goals from Mark Stone, William Karlsson, and Brett Howden, but were unable to overcome the Hurricanes’ strong offense.
