Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail is getting ready for the 2026 season. Sponsor registration will open on July 1, allowing businesses and individuals to invest in the well-being of the Tuscaloosa community.

A Beloved Holiday Tradition

Since its launch in 2013, Tuscaloosa’s One Place Tinsel Trail has grown into a beloved holiday tradition and national attraction. It was voted 4th in the nation in the 2025 USA Today Reader’s Choice Awards for Best Public Holiday Lights Display.

Each holiday season, Government Plaza in downtown Tuscaloosa transforms into a festive wonderland featuring more than 200 live Christmas trees and dazzling displays. By sponsoring Tinsel Trail, businesses and individuals support programs and services provided by Tuscaloosa’s One Place, A Family Resource Center, including parent education classes, workforce development courses, food pantries, and youth mentorship.

Proceeds from sponsorships will fund these resources, which help strengthen families and support the prevention of child abuse and neglect across West Alabama.
