Tim Morrow, President and CEO of the San Antonio Zoo, expressed the zoo’s desire to give back to the Sisters for the joy they have brought to the community. “When we saw how much joy the Salesian Sisters were bringing to our community, we knew we wanted to do something special for them,” Morrow said. “They’ve become a symbol of positivity during this incredible Spurs playoff run. A Gift for Families
The 200 zoo tickets are intended to be shared with families served by the Sisters, further extending their mission of community support and engagement. In addition to the tickets, Morrow and his wife personally donated a brand-new basketball hoop. However, upon delivery, they discovered that another generous donor had already provided one. The new hoop was then gifted to students at St. John Bosco School, located across the street, ensuring that the donation would still benefit the community.
