Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is set to bring the magic of Broadway to Central Florida with an impressive lineup of Tony Award-winning shows for the 2026-27 season. This initiative allows local residents to experience the grandeur of Broadway without leaving their hometown.
Broadway Hits Coming to Orlando
The upcoming season will feature a variety of acclaimed productions, including ‘Hamilton,’ which has garnered 11 Tony Awards, and ‘The Great Gatsby,’ a new musical that has also received Tony recognition. Other notable shows include ‘Death Becomes Her,’ ‘Buena Vista Social Club,’ and ‘Wicked,’ each bringing their unique flair and celebrated performances to the Orlando stage.

Orlando’s Role in the National Theater Scene
Since its opening in 2014, the Dr. Phillips Center has become a major stop on the national theater touring circuit, welcoming over a million Broadway guests and doubling its subscriber base. The center collaborates with Broadway Across America, The Florida Theatrical Association, and The John Gore Organization to bring these high-caliber productions to local audiences.
This season’s lineup also includes ‘Beetlejuice,’ ‘The Sound of Music,’ ‘Jersey Boys,’ ‘Disney’s Beauty and the Beast,’ and ‘BOOP! The Musical,’ each offering a unique theatrical experience. With such a diverse array of performances, the Dr. Phillips Center continues to enrich the cultural landscape of Central Florida.
