The 3rd annual Sisters 4th Fest is set to bring joy and community spirit to downtown Sisters, Oregon, on July 4th. This family-friendly Independence Day celebration will take place from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Village Green Park, offering a range of activities that cater to all ages.
Community-Driven Celebration
Organized by the Rotary Club of Sisters in partnership with Citizens4Community, the event was first introduced in 2024 as a local alternative to the Rumble on the Runway. The day will kick off with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Sisters Rotary Club, setting the stage for a morning filled with fun and camaraderie.
Following breakfast, participants can enjoy the Red, White & Blue 3-miler and the Lil’ Firecracker Dash, presented by Run Sisters Run. The Sisters Veterans will honor the nation with a presentation of colors, while Blazin’ Saddles will lead the “Kids on Wheels” mini-parade, celebrating the community’s younger members.
Entertainment and Activities
Live music will be provided by Dry Canyon Stampede, with stage sponsorship from Corrie Lake & Debbi McCune Realtors. The 2nd Annual Pie-Eating Contest, presented by Sisters Bakery, promises to be a highlight, with participants chosen through an on-site lottery.
Additional activities include a Commemorative Poster presentation by Makin’ It Local and High Desert Frameworks, lawn games hosted by Pretty Awesome Gamers, and fire truck tours offered by Sisters Fire Corps. These activities are made possible by the generous support of local sponsors, ensuring the event remains free for all attendees.
Community Support and Sponsorship
The festival is supported by numerous local businesses and organizations, including BASX Solutions, Blazin’ Saddles, Corrie Lake & Debbi McCune Realtors, and Sisters Bakery, among others. Their contributions highlight the community’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive celebration.
