Sarpy County, Neb. – Residents of western Sarpy County will soon have a convenient new health‑care option. Methodist Physicians Clinic announced a $10 million investment to build a clinic in the Tiburon development area near Gretna, close to Highway 370 and 180th St.
Expanded services for a growing community
The facility will house eight primary‑care physicians and an urgent‑care department that stays open after regular business hours, on weekends and even on holidays. Interim President Stephanie Hogan said the extended schedule is designed to meet the needs of working families in one of the metro area’s fastest‑growing neighborhoods.
“Being able to access that care close to home is an incredible thing for all of our patients and really I think it speaks to the investment in our community,” Hogan explained. “As a working mom, the urgent‑care hours certainly speak to me, allowing my family the convenience we need.”
Construction underway, opening slated for fall 2027
Groundbreaking has already begun, and the clinic is expected to be operational by the fall of 2027. The project reflects Methodist Physicians Clinic’s broader strategy to expand high‑quality health services throughout the region, addressing both routine and urgent medical needs.
Local officials and community members have welcomed the development, noting that additional health‑care resources will reduce travel time for residents and support the area’s rapid growth.
What this means for residents
When the clinic opens, patients will be able to schedule same‑day appointments for non‑life‑threatening conditions, receive preventive care, and benefit from extended hours that accommodate shift workers, parents, and seniors. The addition of urgent‑care services aims to alleviate pressure on nearby emergency departments, providing a more cost‑effective alternative for minor injuries and illnesses.
For more information about the clinic’s services, appointment scheduling, and insurance acceptance, residents can visit the Methodist Physicians Clinic website or contact the clinic directly once it opens.
