Atlanta‑based accounting firm Frazier & Deeter announced Tuesday that it has acquired JamisonMoneyFarmer PC, a Tuscaloosa CPA and advisory firm that has served the community since 1920. The acquisition marks the third Alabama purchase for Frazier & Deeter in just over a year, extending the firm’s footprint to five locations across the Yellowhammer State.
Growth strategy in Alabama
Frazier & Deeter entered Alabama in 2025 by acquiring the Huntsville firm Anglin Reichmann Armstrong. It added Auburn‑based Machen McChesney in September before completing the JamisonMoneyFarmer deal. “Alabama has been one of our most active growth markets, and JMF provides us with real depth there,” said Jeremy Jones, CEO of Frazier & Deeter. “As we continue to grow throughout the Southeast, we’re focused on preserving the local relationships that have made firms like JMF successful while expanding the resources and expertise available to clients.”

Frazier & Deeter added that JMF clients will keep working with the same professionals while gaining access to the larger firm’s national resources, including advanced technology platforms, talent development programs, finance, marketing and business‑development support.

The acquisition is expected to bolster the local professional services sector without reducing headcount. Both firms indicated that the integration will preserve existing staff and may create new roles as the combined firm expands service offerings. The move also positions Tuscaloosa as a regional hub for accounting, audit, tax and advisory work, supporting local businesses and nonprofit organizations.
