Custom Print Shop Opens, Guitar Repair Returns, and 14 Denton Businesses Update

Denton’s commercial corridor is buzzing with new openings, reopenings and relocations, offering residents fresh shopping, dining and service options. According to Community Impact, Custom T‑Shirts & Posters launched its Golden Triangle Mall location on Oct. 28, occupying the space across from Journeys at 2201 S. I‑35E. The shop promotes the slogan “Your ideas. Our print.” and provides custom apparel, posters, tote bags and coffee mugs, with staff on hand to guide customers from concept to finished product.

In early July, Little d Guitars announced a limited‑service reopening after a three‑week shutdown. Owner Gregory Lange, who recently underwent shoulder surgery, said he has paused intensive repair work but will accept appointments for light repairs such as setups, restringing and cosmetic touch‑ups. Lange expects to resume more extensive repairs by September, giving local musicians a timeline for full service restoration.

Community Impact also highlighted 14 additional Denton businesses that are either newly opened, expanding, or moving. Burnout Vintage, known for antique glassware and home décor, plans to relocate to a larger venue in early 2027. Alpaca Moona continues to sell handcrafted sweaters, jewelry, bags and authentic Andean instruments like pan flutes and ocarinas. Dogtopia, a family‑owned canine facility, offers size‑specific playrooms, live webcams and a dog‑friendly patio for owners to watch their pets socialize.

Smithers Smokehouse adds to the city’s food scene with a menu featuring chopped brisket, pulled pork, St. Louis‑style ribs, sandwiches, nachos and sides, plus an outdoor bar and patio that welcomes dogs. Indian eatery Nandi’s serves biryani, mandi, tandoor‑cooked dishes, rumali roti, curries and chaat street‑food snacks. Overworld Collectibles buys, sells and trades video‑game and card collectibles, hosts weekly Super Smash Bros. meetups and plans additional gaming events.

Other updates include Universal Smoke & Vape’s expanded tobacco and vaping product line, Glo Xtreme All‑Star Cheer & Dance’s recreational and competitive classes for all ages, and the upcoming halal restaurant 375 Chicken ’N Fries, which will feature fried‑chicken dishes with a variety of house‑made sauces. Luxury Storage Condominiums will offer climate‑controlled units for boats, vehicles and valuable collections, with options for fitness or gaming spaces.

Relocations were also noted: Luxie Living moved to a larger brick‑and‑mortar space at 1112 N. Locust St. early September, emphasizing artisan glassware and mahjong tiles. Permits for the move have been filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Construction on the drive‑through 7 Brew Coffee location is slated to begin in May 2027 and finish by October 2027.

In related news, Teriyaki Madness began offering drone‑delivered protein bowls as of Oct. 15, while the El Perro Loco food truck remains temporarily closed due to economic challenges and the owner’s emergency surgery.

What’s next: Little d Guitars aims to take on more intensive repairs by September; Burnout Vintage’s move is expected in early 2027; Luxie Living’s new storefront opened early September; 7 Brew Coffee construction will run May‑October 2027; and 375 Chicken ’N Fries is slated to open later this year, pending final permits.
