The City of Mesquite announced that a Town Hall Tuesday meeting will be held for residents to learn about the city’s road and street repair and renovation projects. The open‑house session begins at 6 p.m., with a formal presentation starting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at City Hall, 757 N. Galloway Ave.
According to the city’s recent community surveys, street maintenance ranked among the highest priorities for Mesquite residents. In response, the City Council approved the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget, allocating more than $40 million specifically for street repairs and maintenance.
The Town Hall Tuesday event provides an opportunity for residents to connect directly with Mesquite Council members and city staff. Attendees can ask questions, receive updates on ongoing and upcoming road projects, and obtain information about how the newly funded budget will be applied to improve local streets and alleys.
City officials also highlighted online tools that allow residents to stay informed and report issues. The Road Report is available at www.cityofmesquite.com/The-Road-Report, offering current details on road conditions and project status. For pothole reports or other road concerns, residents are directed to the myMesquite portal at www.cityofmesquite.com/myMesquite.
What’s next: The Town Hall Tuesday meeting on Nov. 10 is open to the public, and city staff encourage anyone with questions about road work or the FY 2027 budget allocation to attend. Additional information about the agenda and how to submit questions in advance can be found on the city’s website.
