Jackson, WY – The Teton County Scholarship Program (TCSP) is inviting students and their families to a free information night tomorrow, Oct. 27, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The session will be held at the Scholarship Alliance in Smith’s Plaza, Suite 101, next to Eagle Vision.
Who Can Apply
Any senior graduating from a public, private or home school in Teton County is eligible to apply for the 2027 scholarship class. The program awards can be used toward four‑year universities, community colleges, or trade and vocational programs, covering tuition, books, fees and other related expenses.
Application Timeline
Applications will open on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Interested students are encouraged to attend the information night to learn about eligibility requirements, the application process, and the types of awards available.
Community Support
“Every award comes from someone in our community who wants to see local students succeed,” said TCSP Scholarship Director Kristine Harris in a press release. “We encourage every eligible senior to apply.”
A 2025 TCSP award recipient expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you so much for giving students like me greater opportunities through this program. Receiving this scholarship meant I didn’t have to choose between going to college and supporting my family. It meant I could do both.”
Why It Matters
The scholarship program reflects the community’s commitment to education and to helping families afford higher‑education costs. By reducing financial barriers, TCSP aims to keep talented young people in the region and strengthen the local workforce.
Parents and students are encouraged to bring questions about the application, required documentation, and the selection process. Representatives from the program will be on hand to provide one‑on‑one guidance.
How to Attend
The information night is open to the public and requires no registration. Attendees should arrive early to secure seating, as space is limited.
