Officers arrived at the scene to find the suspect attempting to withdraw $8,000 using fraudulent identification. Further investigation revealed that the man had attempted to withdraw an additional $12,000 earlier the same day in a nearby city.

The Southlake Department of Public Safety’s investigation has uncovered connections to over 27 victims, including elderly individuals, highlighting the widespread impact of the suspect’s activities. The suspect, identified as Keith Gilbert, faces charges of Fraudulent Use or Possession of Identifying Information, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and multiple outstanding warrants. These warrants span across North Texas and extend to Ashland County, Ohio, and Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
