Destinee Herrera showcased her pitching prowess by delivering a complete game, ensuring Oxnard’s triumph.

Division 5 and Central Section Results

In the CIF-Southern Section Softball Division 5, Northwood dominated Grace with an 11-1 win, limiting the Lancers to just two hits throughout the game. Meanwhile, in the CIF-Central Section Softball Division 4, Mission Prep emerged victorious against South with a 3-0 shutout, demonstrating their defensive strength.

Baseball Championships

The CIF-Southern Section Baseball Division 3 final was a thrilling contest as Mira Costa overcame a significant deficit to defeat Agoura 9-7. The Chargers initially led 6-1, but the Mustangs mounted a comeback with five runs in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth. In the CIF-Central Section Baseball Division 2, Bakersfield Christian narrowly edged out Arroyo Grande with a 4-3 win, securing their championship title.
