Downtown El Paso is set to become a hub of athletic activity as the Badass Human Race takes over San Jacinto Plaza on Sunday, May 31. This event, presented by GECU, will see more than 2,700 athletes participating in a challenging urban obstacle course.

The race will run from 5:30 am to 8:00 am, featuring a variety of obstacles designed to test participants’ strength and agility. Competitors will face challenges such as dead ball drops, scaling tall barricades, and swinging through ropes, among others.
In addition to the race, attendees can enjoy a wellness event that includes recovery activations, DJ performances, fitness experiences, and a variety of food and drink options. The event is free and open to all ages, making it a family-friendly outing for the community.
