President Trump Declared in Excellent Health After Annual Physical

President Donald Trump has been declared in excellent health following his recent annual physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. According to a memo released by his physician, Navy Capt. Sean P. Barbabella, Trump continues to demonstrate strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function.

The examination, which took place earlier this week, included diagnostic studies, laboratory testing, and consultations with 22 specialty providers. Barbabella noted that Trump’s demanding daily schedule, which includes multiple high-level meetings, public engagements, and regular physical activity, supports his overall well-being. Trump’s cognitive and physical performance were described as excellent.

Details of the Examination

Trump, who will turn 80 in June, is 75 inches tall and weighs 238 pounds. His vital signs were reported as a resting heart rate of 73 beats per minute, a blood pressure reading of 105/71 mmHg, and an oxygen saturation level of 98% on room air. No major health concerns were identified during the examination.

The report also mentioned scarring on Trump’s right ear from a gunshot wound sustained during an assassination attempt in 2024, as well as mild lower-leg swelling, which has improved since last year. A neurological examination confirmed a normal mental status, with Trump scoring 30 out of 30 on cognitive screening.

Barbabella also noted bruising on Trump’s hand, attributed to frequent handshaking and aspirin use for cardiovascular prevention. The president’s lifelong abstinence from tobacco and alcohol was highlighted as part of his medical history. Trump currently takes three medications: Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe for cholesterol management, and aspirin for cardiovascular prevention.

The comprehensive evaluation concluded that Trump is fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State.
