Miami, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins announced that rookie running back De’Von Achane will be out for the rest of the 2026 season after tearing his left anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the team’s recent loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Injury details
Achane, 24, was injured on his third rushing attempt in the 24‑10 defeat at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday. He was tackled awkwardly by safety Alohi Gilman and hobbled off the field. The injury was later confirmed as a torn left ACL, a serious knee injury that requires surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation process.
