The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee is inviting residents to three free candidate forums next week. The events are designed to let voters hear directly from those seeking seats in the state legislature, U.S. Congress, the governor’s office and local government.

All three forums will be held in the evening and are open to anyone who wishes to attend.
- Monday, September 14 – Wyoming Theatre, Sheridan, at 6:00 p.m. This session will feature candidates for statewide and federal offices, including the U.S. Representative, U.S. Senator, governor, and secretary of state.
- Tuesday, September 15 – Wyoming Theatre, Sheridan, at 6:00 p.m. The focus will shift to local races, with city‑council hopefuls, school‑district candidates and college‑board nominees speaking.
- Thursday, September 17 – Tong River Valley, Dayton, at 6:00 p.m. This final forum will give residents of the surrounding area a chance to meet candidates for the same local offices.
Each forum will include a brief introduction of the candidates, followed by a question‑and‑answer period. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own questions about issues that matter most to their families and communities.
