Coach Brian Schottenheimer said Miller is not being brought in to take over the defense, but to add depth and experience alongside Rashan Gary, Donovan Ezeiruaku, Malachi Lawrence, James Houston and Sam Williams. “You can never have enough pass rushers,” Schottenheimer explained.
Schottenheimer praised Miller’s football intellect, noting that while the veteran will not play every snap, his presence will make the unit better. “He’s not gonna play 60 games.
