The Alaska Marine Highway System (AMHS) 2026/2027 winter schedule is now open for reservations, covering travel from October 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027. AMHS Director Craig Tornga stated, “As we enter the winter season, our focus remains on providing reliable, safe, and essential marine transit to Alaska’s coastal communities.”
The winter schedule is tailored to meet core community needs, accommodate scheduled annual vessel overhauls, and maintain essential passenger and freight service across the Southeast, Southwest, and Prince William Sound corridors.
