Historic Hanna’s Town in Greensburg is hosting Frontier Family Days, a celebration of the American frontier during the nation’s founding. Visitors can experience the sights, sounds, and stories of 1776 through immersive living history, interactive demonstrations, and family-friendly activities.

Immersive Experience

Costumed interpreters will portray soldiers, settlers, artisans, and public officials, showcasing the daily lives of people who helped shape the American frontier. The event will also feature live music and entertainment, trivia, children’s crafts and activities, guided nature walks, local food, and an opportunity to experience the site’s historic tavern traditions in an immersive setting.

Adults 21 and older can extend the celebration during the Sunday tavern crawl, featuring regional craft breweries and non-alcoholic choices. Proceeds from the event will support the Westmoreland Historical Society’s mission to preserve, interpret, and share the history of Westmoreland County.
