Training Camp Performance
Richardson is behind Riley Leonard and Daniel Jones on the depth chart. He expressed his willingness to help the team in any way possible, even with the third-team offense. Richardson’s performance in training camp has been a positive, but his future with the Colts remains uncertain.
In the offseason, the Colts committed to Jones, using the franchise tag to prevent him from leaving in free agency and then working out a two-year deal. Richardson asked general manager Chris Ballard for a trade but hasn’t received an update on the status of those talks.
