Terri DeBoer, a veteran meteorologist and Congressional candidate, is seeking to flip Michigan’s Third Congressional District back to the GOP. DeBoer, who recently won the Republican primary, told Fox News Digital that she is ready to bring common-sense values to Washington if elected.
DeBoer’s Platform
DeBoer’s campaign focuses on issues such as affordability, securing the border, expanding healthcare choice, and reducing regulations on small businesses. She believes that the Democratic Party has lost its way and is aligning with candidates who undermine what makes America great.
DeBoer also criticized her opponent, Democrat Hillary Scholten, for her voting record in Congress, which she claims is in stark contrast to her moderate image on the campaign trail. DeBoer specifically mentioned Scholten’s vote against the SAVE America Act and her support for pediatric gender treatments.
A Change in Representation
DeBoer believes that the people of West Michigan are ready for a change and want to be represented by someone who shares their values. She said that when she talks to people, they express gratitude for her willingness to step forward and represent their values, which they feel are no longer being represented by the Democratic Party.
