A Delta flight from Atlanta to Orlando was forced to return to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Saturday after reports of fumes in the flight deck. The flight, which was carrying 199 passengers and six crew members, was evacuated via slides on the taxiway.
According to air traffic control audio, the flight crew followed procedures to return to the airport after the fumes were reported. The passengers and crew were then bused back to the terminal.
The incident is under investigation, and the cause of the fumes has not been determined. Delta Air Lines has apologized to its customers for the experience.
