The documentary will also include never-before-seen outtakes and script pages. The project is being directed by Bonni Cohen and marks the first-ever authorized documentary about the series, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2025.
Gilmore Girls originally aired from 2000 to 2007 and was revived by Netflix in 2016 for a limited series. The show follows the lives of Lorelei and Rory Gilmore, a mother-daughter duo living in the small town of Stars Hollow.
