Major Construction Projects Underway in DFW Area

The Dallas-Fort Worth area is witnessing a surge in construction activity, with several major projects set to enhance local business infrastructure. Notably, Simpson Manufacturing is expanding its McKinney plant, adding 278,000 square feet to its facility near the McKinney airport. This expansion, estimated at $57 million, will include additional manufacturing and warehouse space, as well as remodeled office and training areas. The project is slated to begin on September 1 and conclude by March 31, 2028.

New Developments Across DFW

In Plano, Krypton Solutions is preparing to construct a new office and research building at 3060 Summit Ave. This $14.8 million project will begin in August and is expected to be completed by August 2027. Krypton Solutions specializes in design services and the production of parts and electrical components for manufacturing.

Celina will see the construction of a new retail building at 4295 S. Preston Road. The 19,000-square-foot structure is scheduled to start construction in early August, with an estimated cost of $4 million and a completion date of June 2027.

Brake Masters, an auto repair shop, is expanding its presence in Texas with a new location in Frisco at the intersection of Preston Road and Hickory Street. The $1.8 million project will begin on August 14 and is expected to be completed by June 2027. Brake Masters offers a range of automotive services, including oil changes, brake repairs, and engine maintenance.

Grapevine will welcome a new Pet Supplies Plus store on West Park Boulevard. The existing interior space will undergo renovations to accommodate the pet supply store, with construction starting in mid-June and expected to finish by early September. The renovation is estimated to cost $780,000.
