A new temporary ramp for eastbound I-30 traffic exiting to State Highway (SH) 205 in Rockwall will open on August 7. The current eastbound I-30 off-ramp to SH 205 will be closed starting at 9 p.m. on August 6, and traffic will be shifted to the new temporary ramp location at Exit 67C.
Drivers should use caution as traffic adjusts and follow new exit signage. The $348 million I-30 corridor expansion project aims to widen I-30 and add continuous frontage roads from SH 205 to the Hunt County Line, with an expected completion date of early 2028.
