The former OneFifteen property in Dayton, once a recovery campus for substance use disorders, is set to be revitalized as a wellness campus by its new owner, MPW Dayton LLC. The company, linked to Modern Psychiatry and Wellness LLC, purchased the property for $4.5 million, according to Montgomery County Real Estate records.
New Vision for Wellness
Dr. Quinton Moss, founder of both MPW Dayton LLC and Modern Psychiatry and Wellness LLC, aims to create a comprehensive wellness campus. The site will provide recovery housing with over 50 beds for both men and women, alongside various levels of care for substance use disorders and general primary care services.
“Our plan is really to create almost like a wellness campus,” Moss stated. The initiative will offer dual diagnosis treatment, addressing both mental health and substance use disorders simultaneously. This approach is based on the belief that treating co-occurring conditions together yields better outcomes.
Christ-Centered Approach
MPW Dayton LLC emphasizes a Christ-centered approach to treatment, integrating spiritual growth with mental and physical health care. This holistic method aims to support patients in all aspects of their recovery journey.
Dr. Moss highlighted the prevalence of co-occurring disorders, noting that while studies suggest about 50% of individuals with substance use disorders also have mental health issues, his clinical experience indicates the figure could be closer to 90%.
Community Integration
As a new provider in the Dayton region, MPW Dayton LLC plans to engage actively with the local community. “We look forward to partnering with other entities, treatment providers, community service organizations, businesses. We really want to be able to pour into the area,” Moss said.
The former OneFifteen organization, which closed last summer, was initially backed by Verily, a subsidiary of Alphabet, and local hospital systems. Despite receiving significant startup funding, OneFifteen ceased operations due to financial challenges.
MPW Dayton LLC plans to open the new wellness campus by late summer, continuing the mission of providing essential recovery services to the community.
