The Younts Center for the Performing Arts in Fountain Inn is set to host ‘Boot Scootin’ Boogie,’ a country music revue featuring a cast of 15 singers and four dancers. The show, which runs from August 7-16, will include a wide range of country music favorites, from Patsy Cline’s ‘Crazy’ to Carrie Underwood’s hits.
Country Music for All Ages
The production is designed to appeal to audiences of all ages, with a mix of classic and contemporary country music. The show’s creators, Ignite Theatrical, aimed to create a high-energy experience that would get the crowd clapping and singing along. According to Tim St. Clair II, founder and director of Ignite Theatrical, ‘It’s a great opportunity to get out with friends and celebrate and enjoy the hits of country music from the classics to new songs.’
The show’s set list stretches across decades, featuring songs by Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Brooks & Dunn, and Rascal Flatts, among others. The production was designed around the strengths of the performers, with a collaborative approach that helped attract several newcomers to Ignite Theatrical.
Tickets for ‘Boot Scootin’ Boogie’ are available for $15-$20, and can be purchased through the Younts Center’s website or by calling 864-409-1050.
