The Arizona women’s basketball program has added Polish wing Karolina Ulan to its roster, the latest move in coach Becky Burke’s rebuilding effort. Ulan, who turned 21 in January, is a 6-foot-1 guard/wing with extensive experience at the international level and joins the Wildcats effective April 20, 2026.
Burke praised Ulan’s background and skill set, noting that she has competed for multiple seasons in top European club competitions and will bring important experience to Arizona. The coach described Ulan as a long, versatile guard who can score inside, from midrange and beyond the arc, and said her toughness and competitiveness should make an immediate impact.
Ulan comes to Tucson after a strong run with Poland’s youth national teams and in her domestic professional league. She averaged 14.0 points and 3.7 rebounds per game at the 2025 FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket and put up 12.7 points and 3.3 rebounds playing for VBW Gdynia in Poland’s Orlen Basket Liga Kobiet, the country’s top women’s league.
The program also announced four other incoming players: 2026 high-school guard Arynn Finley (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) and three transfers — Aliyahna “Puff” Morris (Cal), Gerda Raulušaityte (USC) and Breanna Williams (Maryland). Burke said Finley brings athleticism, playmaking and three-level scoring potential and is expected to compete right away in the Big 12. She called Morris a dynamic point guard with elite maturity and mental toughness who should make an immediate two-way impact. Raulušaityte was described as a high-IQ, versatile post with excellent length and skills, and Williams as a strong, skilled big who can score in multiple ways and brings elite competitiveness and maturity.
With these additions, Arizona currently has 11 players committed for the 2026–27 season, and the coaching staff expects to add one or two more pieces through the transfer portal as the roster continues to take shape.
