More than 100 small businesses displaced by the sudden closure of Painted Tree Boutiques are getting a new home at Eleven101 Collective, a marketplace opening in the same location along University Avenue in Clive.
Soft Opening Scheduled
Knapp Properties announced that Eleven101 Collective will hold a soft opening on Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31, from noon to 6 p.m. A formal grand opening with the Clive Chamber of Commerce is planned for this fall.
Chris Costa, Knapp Properties CEO, said, ‘When Painted Tree closed, we saw hundreds of entrepreneurs suddenly lose an important part of their business overnight. Our team has worked around the clock over the past three months to reopen these doors as quickly as possible so these small business owners could get back to doing what they love.’
Knapp Properties retained much of the store’s former management team and staff. Eleven101 Collective is still accepting applications for a limited number of remaining vendor spaces.
