First responders will be at Oakview Middle School in Grimes this week for a joint training exercise.
Starting Tuesday, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Johnston Grimes Fire Department will participate in the training, which will include police cars and fire trucks stationed outside the school.
The training is scheduled to continue through Friday.
