Indy Parks and libraries are providing free and affordable fitness classes for residents. Shantel Morris, an instructor, leads a community dancing class at Broad Ripple Park, where participants can dance to various songs and have fun while getting exercise.
Class Options
There are numerous class options available, including Zumba, strength training, yoga, and more. These classes are offered at different parks and libraries across the city, making it easy for residents to find one that fits their schedule and interests.
Some of the classes include: Zumba at Rhodius Park, Stride with Pride at Pride Park, strength training and cardio at Krannert Park, and clogging at Indianapolis World Sports Park. The library also offers free fitness classes, such as belly dancing, strength training, and tai chi.
In addition to these classes, gyms, yoga studios, and independent teachers are offering free classes, including yoga nidra, yoga at Ellenberger Park, and yoga in the gallery at Garfield Park Arts Center.
