Coach Kendrick Holloway, the Head Football Coach and Athletic Coordinator at Richardson High School, has been selected to the prestigious Dave Campbell’s Texas Football 40-Under-40: Who’s Next Among Texas Coaches 2026 list.
Holloway is among the top college and high school coaches in the state, recognized as part of the seventh annual 40-Under-40 list, which highlights rising stars in the coaching ranks.
Holloway was instrumental in leading the Eagles to a record-breaking 2025 season. Richardson High School was the district 7-6A co-champion and also won the bi-district championship in the playoffs. Through his leadership, he has elevated the Richardson High School athletics program. Congratulations on this achievement!
The honor, announced by Richardson ISD this week, shines a spotlight on the dedication and talent found within the district’s athletic programs. Being selected for the DCTF 40-Under-40 list places the coach among an elite group of young professionals in the Dallas-area education community who are recognized for their leadership, commitment to student-athletes, and positive impact both on and off the field.
Richardson ISD has long been known for its strong athletic tradition, and recognitions like this one reflect the quality of coaching staff the district continues to attract and develop. For student-athletes suiting up for the Eagles, knowing their coaches are earning region-wide recognition is an extra source of pride heading into the fall season.
The district shared the news on its official channels, celebrating the coach’s achievement as a reflection of the broader excellence Richardson ISD strives for across all of its programs. Fans, parents, and students throughout the community have been quick to offer congratulations.
As summer practice and preparation ramp up ahead of the 2026 season, this recognition serves as a timely reminder of the dedicated professionals guiding Richardson ISD’s student-athletes — and the bright future ahead for Eagles football.
