Hippopotamus, a four-year-old gray Pit Bull, is the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region’s Pet of the Week. This lovable pup is all wiggles, wagging tails, and a heart full of love. Despite his larger-than-life name, Hippopotamus has a loose, wiggly personality and loves seeking comfort and companionship from his people.
About Hippopotamus
Hippopotamus enjoys going on walks with volunteers and walks nicely on a leash, making him a wonderful adventure buddy. He came to the Humane Society as a stray, so his history with other animals is unknown, and slow introductions will help set him up for success. Whether he’s flashing his signature grin or soaking up attention, Hippopotamus has a way of making everyone around him smile.
If you’re looking for a cheerful companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Hippopotamus is ready to make a splash in your life. To learn more about Hippopotamus, visit hsppr.org or visit in person at 4600 Eagleridge Place, Pueblo. Adoption hours are Noon – 4:30 p.m. You can also call 719-544-3005 for more information.
