Wylie Animal Services has announced a partnership with the Rowlett-based nonprofit Friends of Rescue Animals to benefit animals and the community. The partnership will enhance existing programs while keeping the same daily operations.
Volunteer Opportunities
The volunteer program of Friends of Rescue Animals offers new opportunities for area residents to serve. Volunteer information can be found by contacting [email protected]. The organization also considers requests for emergency medical care and sponsors sterilizations for community cats.
Upcoming events for Wylie Animal Services include off-site dog adoptions from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, July 18, at the Walmart located at 2050 S State Highway 78. Through July 18, cat and dog adoption fees are reduced to $25 in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
