Springfield Little Theatre’s 2026-2027 mainstage season will bring seven productions to the historic Landers Theatre, with Tony Award winners and some classic favorites in the lineup.
Season Highlights
The season begins at the barricades with the beloved “Les Misérables,” one of the most popular and highest-grossing stage musicals of all time. Set in early 19th-century France, “Les Mis” is based on the 1862 novel of the same name by Victor Hugo.
Other highlights include “Arsenic and Old Lace,” a delightfully dangerous Victorian comedy, and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” a heartwarming family favorite. The season also features “Once Upon a Mattress,” a Tony-nominated play that reimagines Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Princess and the Pea,” and “Dear Evan Hansen,” a Tony Award winner that explores connection, belonging, and honesty.
The season will also include “Peter Pan Goes Wrong,” an international comedy hit, and “Mean Girls,” a rock musical comedy from comedian Tina Fey.
