Congress Probes Lesley Groff Over Epstein Testimony

The House Oversight Committee is considering affidavits from Jeffrey Epstein survivors regarding Lesley Groff, Epstein’s longtime assistant. This development comes after multiple survivors told CNN that Groff had lied to the committee last month.

Investigation and Testimony

Groff worked for Epstein for nearly two decades, managing his day-to-day schedule. She has denied any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, claiming she was duped by a ‘master manipulator and deceiver.’ However, several Epstein survivors have come forward, contradicting Groff’s testimony. They claim she met them in person, asked for their ages, and was aware of their travel arrangements.

Lara Blume McGee, an Epstein survivor, remembers meeting Groff at least twice at Epstein’s townhouse. Another survivor, Marina Lacerda, said Groff regularly asked her detailed questions about new girls she planned to bring to Epstein, including their ages. Sharlene Rochard, also an Epstein survivor, stated that Groff knew her age because she had her passport information to plan travel.

Committee’s Next Steps

The committee is taking the accounts of Epstein survivors seriously and preparing to hold Groff accountable if she is found to have lied to Congress. Lying to Congress is a crime, and committee investigators are reviewing Groff’s testimony and references in the Epstein files to determine her truthfulness.
