A high-risk raid in Lincoln County early yesterday morning near Mechem Drive and Brady Canyon Road uncovered a stash house and led to two arrests, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff said the warrant for the raid was approved after a months-long investigation.
Once inside, agents found items that are commonly found in a stash house. A stash house is a residence that is used to traffic or transfer humans and/or drugs, according to Sheriff Wood. Two individuals barricaded themselves inside the home during the raid and were eventually taken into custody, though one has since been released.
