A baby western chimpanzee named Jane, who lives at Wingham Wildlife Park in Kent, has correctly predicted five out of England’s six World Cup games and has now backed the Three Lions to beat Argentina in the semi-final.
Jane’s Predictions
Jane was presented with two balls, one painted with the St George’s Cross and one with the Argentinian flag. She ignored the Argentinian ball and went straight to the English one, giving it a kiss.
Jane’s predictions have been spot on so far, with her only getting the Ghana result wrong. Her predictions have become a valuable activity, helping her build confidence exploring her indoor and outdoor habitats before she rejoins the rest of the chimpanzee troop.
