Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt is set to deliver his annual State of the City address on Wednesday, reflecting on the city’s accomplishments and sharing his vision for the future. The address will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oklahoma City Convention Center.
Recent Accomplishments
The city has seen several notable developments, including the announcement of a new multi-purpose arena that will host soccer and football, as well as the Continental Coliseum. Additionally, the city completed the National Clara Luper Sit-In Plaza in November, honoring Luper and other young activists who fought for civil rights.
The city has also reported a 1 percent decrease in the homeless population, the first decrease since 2022, according to the Point in Time Count.
