Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood is hosting the Bevapalooza festival, a family-friendly event featuring music, shopping, and activities for all ages. The festival will take place on Saturday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. along the 99th and 103rd Street Metra corridors.
Festival Attractions
More than 25 businesses and eight performers will participate in the event, which includes activity hubs in the 9900 block of South Walden Parkway and in the parking lot of Bethany Union Church. Festival-goers can enjoy sidewalk sales from food and retail businesses, children’s activities, additional food vendors, beer from local breweries, live music, and DJs.
Face painters will be on 103rd Street, and organizers are bringing back a popular inflatable basketball game for kids. A reuse and recycling pop-up will also be available at the Beverly Unitarian Church, where neighbors can drop off items for reuse and repurposing of specialty recycling in partnership with local nonprofits.
