The Wyoming Coaches Foundation North-South All-Star game is set to take place on Saturday, July 18, in Casper. Three changes have been made to the rosters, all in basketball. Cadence Jones from Farson-Eden will join the South girls’ basketball team, while Jack Andela from Campbell County and Carter Alvar of Kelly Walsh will play for the North boys’ basketball team.
Game Details
The games will begin with volleyball at 1 p.m., followed by girls’ basketball, and then boys’ basketball. The events will be held at Swede Erickson ‘Thunderbird’ Gymnasium at Casper College. The North won volleyball and boys’ basketball in 2025, and the South won girls’ basketball last year.
The games are part of the Wyoming Coaches Association Annual Coaching Clinic, Hall of Fame Banquet, and All-Star Week in Casper. A committee of high school coaches selected the top players from the northern and southern halves of the state to participate in the event. In addition to the games, each team will participate in a community awareness event, visiting either Make-A-Wish, Special Olympics, or the Boys and Girls Clubs in the Casper community.
Rosters and Coaches
The updated list of participants and coaches for the volleyball, girls’ basketball, and boys’ basketball games is available. The volleyball officials will be Megan Adels and Tom Goton, while the girls’ basketball officials will be Katie Reeves, Bryant Birch, and Tom Wells. The boys’ basketball officials are Tony Hult, Larry Schmitt, and Shawn Leimser.
